Baltimore Man Found Shot To Death On PA Highway: PSP

A 54-year-old Baltimore man has been identified after he was found shot to death along US 222 on April 23, 2023, in Lancaster County.

Miguel Vazquez-Ruiz's death was ruled a homicide by the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.

His body was found on U.S. 222 South, in Brecknock Township Lancaster County on Sunday near the Berks County line at mile marker 48.6, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Investigators are looking for dash cam video or any witnesses who observed suspicious activity in the area, between the hours of 4:00 am and 7:00 am.

PSP is also requesting that any businesses and residences with surveillance video that captures 222 between the Turnpike exit and the Adamstown/Knauers exit, including the interchanges, to send investigators the camera footage.
